The shareholders of Vital Products Plc have shares and investments in a group of individual companies in Nigeria. The years of experience and networks have enabled the Kapoor family to be strong investors in the Nigerian economy and infrastructure. The group of companies run independently with a close connection and shared expertise amongst the partners and the directors.

Mr. Sanjeev Raj Kapoor serves as Vice Chairman of Vital Products Ltd. Mr. Kapoor has over 30 years management experience in running conglomerates and multinational organizations. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director in Strides Vital Nigeria Limited (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing), Sambuka Fertilizers Limited (Import and Distribution of Fertilizers) West African Tobacco Company Limited (Distribution of Tobacco Products) Stellar Beverages, Vita Towers & Vita Construction, Extended Networks and RSGD.

The Vital Group is a vast conglomerate of companies in Nigeria spanning agriculture, pharmaceuticals and consumer products, the group has invested heavily in all sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Vital Pharmaceuticals

Vital Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical company built by Sanjeev Kapoor in the early 80s. The company had one of the largest distribution networks and own label brands in Nigeria. The company was sold to Strides Acrolab India and was renamed Vital Strides
Nigeria Limited.

Sanjeev was the founder & owners of the company until a majority share was bought by Strides in 1999 creating a company called Vital Strides Nigeria Ltd.

Vital Strides Nigeria Limited

Vital Strides Nigeria Ltd is a strategic partnership comprising Vital Pharmaceuticals Ltd London and Strides Arcolabs Ltd of India. The company is a leading household name in pharmaceuticals and incorporates a range of products promoting healthy living; some include Dependol, Vital Cod Liver Oil Capsules, Vitaclox, Vitacillin and Vitaderm. These brands have an established presence in the market and are popular medication names in Nigeria.

Vital Construction Limited

Developing Sunshine Tower in Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, a high-end residential block of 40 flats. The partners continue to develop office spaces alongside another company called RSGD.

FMCG

FMCG is a Nigerian Sales & Distribution company with multinational experience in mature and emerging markets. FMCG isĀ one of the fasters growing Distribution Company in Nigeria. Part of the Vital Group the partnership offers the vast and rapid distribution and sales of products throughout Nigeria, sourcing new brands every day. FMCG is part of a group of companies, all operating in the arena of FMCG type products (those consumed daily) A group of partners are common to the 6 group companies:

Stellar Beverages

The alcohol manufacturer of Captain Jack, Big Ben Gin and Royal Standard Whisky. They are Nigerian manufacturers of alcohol in 100-1 litres bottles & sachets. The company continues to add to their portfolio of brands as well as distribute for major international brands.

West African Tobacco Company Ltd

West African Tobacco Company Ltd are distributors in Nigeria for JTI Japan Tobacco, the second largest producer of cigarettes in the world of making the Dorchester, Gold bond, LD etc. Following a successful introduction and launch of the brands, the successive plans to establish a multi-million naira factory in Nigeria to undertake the manufacture of cigarettes in Nigeria are in action.

RSGD

The partners own a commercial property construction and lettings business.

At Extended Networks, is an indisputable culture of great team spirit and inclusiveness, they have built trust over the years with quality commissioning of all entrusted telecommunications deployments for major mobile network operators in Nigeria.
